Marine Press Speaking on Disruptive Technology at the Nautical Institute Singapore Conference

Captain Malcolm Soares, VP Asia Pacific at Marine Press, was invited to join the expert panel on Disruptive Technology at the 2019 Nautical Institute Singapore Conference. The Conference was held last May 15th and focused on the many challenges that will need to be faced by the maritime industry over the next couple of years.

The aim of the conference was to look at these issues and to discuss them from various angles, that included the regulatory requirements, practicality, legal implications, and the impact on both the shipowner and seafarers. The event was supported by the MPA, SSA, WISTA, SP, SMA, IMAREST, BIMCO and Mission to Seafarers. It also included as Guest of Honor Ms Quah Ley Hoon - CEO of Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore.
