OneOcean joins RightShip’s Zero Harm Innovation Partners Program
OneOcean has joined Rightship’s Zero Harm Innovation Partners Program, in a collaboration that recognises both organisations’ commitment to supporting seafarers, ship managers, and operators with cutting-edge tools and knowledge to improve safety, performance, and wellbeing at sea.
As a result of the agreement, OneOcean customers using the Ocean Learning Platform – an integrated system for maritime learning, assessment and competency management – will now be eligible for recognition on the RightShip platform, demonstrating to charterers, owners, and partners that they too, are invested in the highest standards of safety, quality, and crew wellbeing.

A Shared Mission to Advance Safety and Sustainability
OneOcean, part of the Lloyd’s Register Group is a trusted maritime partner, supporting thousands of maritime professionals around the world for many years — advancing digital transformation, supporting seafarers, and improving safety, sustainability, and performance.
At the heart of this partnership is a shared belief in the power of transparency. OneOcean and RightShip are united in their commitment to elevating safety and wellbeing through better data, improved visibility, and the promotion of best practice across the global fleet.
OneOcean’s unique Human Capital Management solution brings every stage of the crew management lifecycle into a single, trusted ecosystem, delivering clarity and foresight to help maritime leaders run safer, smarter and more sustainable operations.
Designed to simplify crew management and enable more effective workforce planning, the solution provides maritime leaders with a connected view of learning, compliance, scheduling, and performance. It brings together powerful tools for managing crew assignments, tracking work and rest hours, and delivering maritime-specific e-learning and competency assessment — all within a single, secure ecosystem. By making learning accessible at sea, ashore, and on the move, OneOcean helps organisations build high-performing teams and reduce operational risk – a natural complement to the Zero Harm mission.
Steve Cooper, Chief Revenue Officer, OneOcean says: ‘This important collaboration marks the first for our new brand OneOcean – created through the integration of LR OneOcean and Ocean Technologies Group. Our goal is to develop tools that reduce complexity and ease the burden on seafarers, keeping them at the centre of everything we do. This aligns directly with RightShip’s mission to champion safety, sustainability, and crew welfare across the global fleet’.
By joining the Zero Harm Innovation Partners Program, OneOcean supports RightShip’s mission to champion safety, sustainability, and crew welfare across the global fleet and to accelerate positive transformation across the sector.
Together, RightShip and OneOcean are empowering the world’s leading shipowners and managers to shape safer practices, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and reduce the environmental impact of operations.
“Transparency, collaboration, and better data are essential to advancing safety and sustainability across our industry,” said Steen Lund, CEO, RightShip. “The Zero Harm Innovation Partners Program was built to drive exactly that — connecting product innovators with shipowners, managers and charterers. We’re delighted to welcome OneOcean to the program as we work together to improve visibility, promote best practice, and turn our shared commitment to zero harm into lasting industry impact.”
This partnership underscores the belief that meaningful progress comes from collaboration. By combining their complementary strengths, RightShip and OneOcean continue to drive the maritime sector toward a Zero Harm future, where people and the planet are at the centre of every decision.
